Three days a week our doors are open for worship, prayer, food and friendship. You are welcome at any of them.

TodayOur main gathering of the week. A family communion service with praise and worship, the breaking of bread and preaching from the Bible. Everyone is welcome, whether you have been a Christian for years or this is your first time in church.
What to expect on a SundayWednesday
TodayCome early for a coffee and a chat with Pastor Lorraine from 4pm. At 5:30pm we gather to pray for our church work and outreach, for our community and for those who are sick and in need. This type of prayer is called intercession. Then one of our ministers opens up the word of God in a friendly, informal meeting where we gather around the Bible for an hour.

TodayOur Wacky Café is open for food and friendship. A hot, home-style lunch and pudding is served from 11:45am, with vegetarian options. Our free bank of clothes, shoes, bedding and household items is open at the same time.

Welcome! Whether you are a seasoned Christian or this is your first experience of Church, Full Gospel Tabernacle welcomes you as a family member.
We are a Pentecostal church reaching out into the community with the love of Christ and want for everyone to feel accepted. You are invited to join us at one of our services or at our Thursday Community Café.
Our church is led by Pastor Paul Cookson, a minister since 2007, and his wife Pastor Lorraine Cookson, who is also a full time Pastor. You can read Pastor Paul's story and what we believe on our About Us page.
Our community café is a big part of our outreach. We cook a hot lunch and pudding and have a huge clothes, bedding and household items bank for everyone to have.
We hold a number of events for people of all ages. Whether you would like to join us for a lovely meal at our café, learn about the Bible at our Bible study meetings, or attend one of our community fun days, we have something for everyone.
Our community fun days have been held for Easter, Christmas and the August bank holiday, with a bouncy castle, crafts and soft play. They are very popular and we are attempting to hold more of them. For dates of the next one, please get in touch with us and we will do our best to help with your query.
